General Information: All of this system is built with heavy structural steel tubing, adjustable legs for uneven ground, sealed ball bearings on oversized shafting, quality hydraulic motors of standard interchange design. Hydraulic pressure and return lines are mandrel bent and follow the machinery layout for minimal pressure drop. This machinery is built to last.

$29K – Trimmer with infeed, conveyors below and dust collection manifold:

Trimmer with infeed, conveyors below and dust collection manifold

  • 20’ over table 6 saw lumber trimmer for 2”x3” thru 2”x6” lumber
  • 5hp 3 phase arbor motors with 22” carbide saw blades. Efficient dust    shrouds with 3” ports
  • Saws have a quick adjust feature to minimize length change time loss
  • Overhead dust collection manifold with 10” outlet and knife gate and 3” flex lines
  • Built in transfer chains with hook stops, limit switch and photocells for automation
  • Built in pinch roll system with even end verification to ensure zero end trim
  • Seven star wheels with square bore position under saw blades to carry lumber segments
  • Star wheels each have four pockets and hydraulic motor with shaft mount gear reducer
  • Timing wheel mounted behind gear reducer signals adjustable proximity switches for accurate loading and discharge stop positions
  • Trimmer currently has adjustable stops for 36-7/8”, 39-7/8” and 47-7/8 board lengths
  • Operators control panel is mounted on a swing arm and controls everything from your break down hoist thru the outfeed belt conveyor. A touch screen on control panel is used for timing adjustments for breakdown hoist, transfer chains, trimmer functions and outfeed belt loading
  • “On edge” lumber discharge belt is mounted below trimmer. It has smart eyes for gap control
  • Trim end waste belt also mounts below trimmer. Both conveyors are hydraulic driven

$9K – Chamfer module and tipple conveyor:

Chamfer module and tipple conveyor

  • Heavy plate steel construction with front access doors and tubing legs
  • Two 7.5hp 3600 rpm arbor motors with “grease lock” arbor adapters
  • Fixed lower head and movable top head with “grease lock” moulder heads
  • Removable polished bed plate and straight edges guide material thru the machine
  • Fixed vertical feed rolls and outside spring loaded vertical feed rolls all hydraulic driven
  • Dual hydraulic motors and nickel plated drive chains are torque arm mounted on top
  • Feed rolls and pivots are all mounted on replaceable sealed flange bearings
  • Chip evacuation chutes top and bottom are extremely efficient with 3” dust ports
  • Upper spring loaded hold down shoe prior to top head to eliminate knife chatter
  • Free standing control panel and mounted starter panel with safety lock out switches
  • Aluminum belt conveyor tipple on outfeed side raises up for service walk thru
